The Memory Films toolkit was developed with people living with dementia and their families. It offers a creative way to share stories, reconnect with memories, and strengthen family bonds through a collaborative activity.
This toolkit provides practical guidance and simple steps to support people living with long-term conditions or disabilities, alongside their families, friends and carers, to create short, animated films of personal memories using simple stop motion techniques.
Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council Impact Accelerator Fund; created in partnership with Hartlepool Community Led Inclusion Partnership (CLIP) and researchers at Teesside University.
